Get in the Game

Guide to a Joyful Heart

Tip of the Week:

For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities; nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Rom. 8:38-39, KJV

Dear Brothers and Sister in Christ, these words are powerful, read them again. Let them sink into your soul. After we are born again, birthed into the family of God through the blood of Jesus Christ, nothing can separate us from God. He is our Father. We are His sons and daughters forever.

I can not even imagine being separated from God. He is who I am. He’s apart of me. There is nothing on this earth I would exchange for my relationship with God, not money of any amount, not power, or fame, or even life its self.

But the awesome thing is that as much as we love God, it is no comparison to the love He has for us. Even when we rebel and disappoint Him, even when we leave him and start doing our own thing; He loves, forgives, and draws us back to Him.

I think in these end times, He is drawing us closer, and giving us a clearer understanding of what it means to stand up for Jesus. He is gathering His army.  Are you ready for the fight? Are you putting on the whole armor of God? Are you being a prayer warrior? Are you preparing for the battle? I think the days are over when we can be happy just sitting on the bench. We need to get in the game. Fight for what you believe in. In the end, nothing else matters, nothing. This life and all earthly materials are just vapors in the wind, but our souls and the love of God endures forever. Please let me encourage you to be about your Father’s business.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16, KJV
