How Much Do You Love Me?

Guide to a Joyful Heart

Tip of the Day:

He (Jesus) saith unto him the third time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me?  Peter was grieved because he said unto him the third time, Lovest thou me?  And he said unto him, Lord, thou knowest that I love thee.  Jesus saith unto him.  Feed my sheep.  John 21:17, KJV

We say we are Christians.  We say we want to live like Christ.  But, how much do we show it in our actions.  How much do you sacrifice for Him?  It’s easy to say God’s will be done, but when God gives you a job, do you make excuses, or think how it will affect you, or if you can fit it into your schedule?  Sometimes we are so busy with worldly things we forget to listen to that still small voice, the voice of Jesus asking us to come follow Him.  Asking us to share His love with others, so that they may know Him.  Most of the time, it’s our actions and the way we react to situations that cause others who may not have a relationship with Christ to become curious about getting to know Him, which could lead to them trusting in Him for their salvation.  If you don’t feel God using you to do His will maybe you need to check in.  First, ask yourself could there be a reason you are not being used by God?  Then, pray and ask Him to use you.  Tell Him you are willing.  Now, I’m not saying we need to work for our salvation.  What I’m saying is that because we are saved by Christ, we should be about our Father’s business.  Remember that in the end, all that really matters is what we do for Him.
