Guide to a Joyful Heart
Tip of the Day:
Let the words of my month, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord, my strength, and my redeemer. Psalm 19:14, KJV
Most of the time, I’m a thinker before a speaker. That’s just the way I’m geared. However, even people who are geared this way have trouble keeping control of the words they speak. Not that our words are vulgar or profanity, but they may not be gracious, uplifting, or encouraging. Therefore, be careful with the words you speak that they may be acceptable to God.
He that hath clean hands (right deeds), and a pure heart (right motives); who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully. He shall receive the blessing from the Lord, and righteousness from the God of his salvation. Psalms 24:4-5, KJV
Remember, do all things, even small things, to the glory of God. Not that we can earn our salvation, but that we can spread His love to others, and be blessed according to His good will.
